I’m a Brooklyn-based artist working primarily in oils, exploring the intersection of memory and surrealism. Through my work, I invite viewers to pause, look closer, and question what they’re seeing.
Although I was born in the U.S., my South Indian heritage gives me a unique perspective—a balance between intimacy and the vantage point of an outsider. In my figurative pieces, I try to create a sense of presence, as if the viewer is sharing the room with the subject. My work spans both abstraction and figuration, but a consistent throughline connects it all. Through expressive brushwork and a rich, intentional use of color, I aim to craft paintings that linger in the mind, evoking a feeling of both familiarity and strangeness.
